CT USB Save State Procedure – GE

The system state USB should first be located and inserted into the SCSI tower USB port.

Once the indicator LED activates, the service icon located in the upper left corner of the CT system (on the right-side monitor) should be clicked.

The service browser will then open, and the “Utilities” tab at the top of the browser should be selected, followed by selecting “System State USB.”

A new window will appear, allowing customization of the state files to be saved to the USB. Users may choose the “Protocol” option to save only the CT protocols or select “All” to save the entire system state file.

The procedures for saving the protocol or system state to the USB typically take between 5 to 10 minutes to complete.

Upon completion, the system will display a confirmation message. At this stage, the “Cancel” button should be clicked, followed by the “Dismiss” button to close the save system state window.

Finally, the USB should be removed from the SCSI tower and labeled with the date of the save and any pertinent notes.
